I have an eMachines ET1831-05 Windows 7 Home Premium 64 Bit Computer, It connect to the internet via a wireless card i installed, meaning its ethernet port is open. I have a linux ubuntu 10.(something) computer that i want to connect to the internet but do not have a wireless card to. It it possible to run an ethernet cable from the eMachines to the Linux to connect the linux to the internet?
Additional Details
Im in a collage dorm that only offers wireless.

BadWolf, i tried it but it only lets me choose my Local Area Connection, which is not plugged in, what i need to share is my wireless.

My linux is seeing the windows computer through the ethernet cable, but when i double click on it it says "connot retreive the share list from server." Maybe you can team veiw me to help?
